Global Supply Chain New College Graduates Program

About the role

The Global Supply Chain New College Graduates Program is a 16‑month rotational training scheme designed to develop future leaders for Applied Materials’ supply chain organization. Participants will rotate through Purchasing, Sourcing and Commodity Management while gaining technical and business expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support new supplier introductions and disengagements across the Applied Materials supply base.
• Maintain supplier agreements and develop strategies to procure components at the lowest total cost.
• Assist in creating commodity road maps and implement commodity strategies.
• Drive material cost‑reduction projects, including supplier negotiations and design optimisation.
• Perform supplier risk assessments, monitor performance and resolve supply‑chain issues affecting quality, cost or delivery.
• Forecast engineering, material and manufacturing requirements and coordinate demand signals through MRP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, qualitative and oral communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multi‑task and meet deadlines in a results‑driven culture.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and in preparing executive reports and presentations.
