Global System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Global System Administrator to manage a complex regional technology environment in Singapore. The role involves hands‑on administration of enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud platforms, supporting a leading player in the energy and commodities trading sector.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise Windows Server, VMware virtualisation, Microsoft Azure, storage, backup, directory services, and messaging systems.
• Perform server patching, disaster‑recovery planning, identity and access management, and security hardening.
• Coordinate data‑centre operations, hybrid‑cloud activities, and automation initiatives.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through delivery, collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and professional services partners.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, handover notes, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing enterprise‑scale systems infrastructure.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration, virtualization, and Microsoft Azure.
• Independent, structured, and capable of balancing operational support with project delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
