Graphical User Interface & Full Stack Software Developer – Quantum Platform

About the role

Keysight Technologies' Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) division is looking for a talented developer to create and maintain desktop‑focused graphical user interfaces, with optional web components, for quantum automation, data management and system configuration. You will work alongside physicists, firmware engineers and backend teams to deliver intuitive, high‑performance tools for the quantum control platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support desktop GUIs for automation workflows, data visualization, instrument control and system configuration.
• Develop full‑stack components such as backend services (Node.js, GoLang), RESTful APIs and front‑end web interfaces (Angular, TypeScript) where needed.
• Translate complex quantum workflows into clear UI/UX mockups, prototypes and reusable frameworks.
• Integrate GUIs with hardware‑control layers, quantum SDKs and orchestration systems via well‑defined APIs.
• Define and execute testing strategies including unit, integration, functional and UI automation tests.
• Document UI flows, software interfaces and system interaction models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience building desktop GUI applications using frameworks such as Qt, PyQt/PySide or .NET/C#.
• Proficiency in full‑stack development with TypeScript, Angular, Node.js and GoLang.
• Ability to design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑service architectures.
