Group Accountant

About the role

The Group Accountant will support the consolidation, analysis and management reporting for the entire group. The role ensures accurate and timely preparation of finance information, particularly month‑end group management accounts, and contributes to budget and forecast submissions together with the Manager of Group Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year‑end group consolidations, including supporting schedules and commentaries.
• Assist in the preparation of group consolidation financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Roll out and maintain the consolidation tool, streamlining related processes.
• Liaise with auditors on audit matters and prepare required schedules.
• Coordinate with local finance teams to ensure completeness of consolidation data.
• Support group forecasting and budgeting, producing consolidated forecasts and annual budgets.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving systems, processes and financial procedures.
• Respond to ad‑hoc financial analysis requests.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in group consolidation or auditing.
• Experience with multinational group consolidations.
• Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP consolidation and reporting modules.
• Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools for automation and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Solid knowledge of MS‑Office applications.
