About the role

A global logistics and shipping company is looking for a Group Accountant to join its Singapore office. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role prepares consolidation and group financial reporting for the group.

Key responsibilities

Prepare consolidation schedules, intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments
Produce reporting packages and support statutory audits
Work closely with Group Finance, subsidiary finance teams and auditors to ensure completeness and accuracy of group reporting
Assist with Head Office accounting activities
Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial reporting processes, controls and systems

Required profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
Minimum 3-8 years of experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, audit or corporate finance
Prior experience in a holding company, diversified group or audit firm preferred
