Group Financial Controller – SGX Listed Company

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Group Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, consolidation and SGX compliance for a listed company with regional operations. The role combines deep technical accounting expertise with strategic partnership to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee end‑to‑end consolidated financial statements and annual/interim reports.
• Ensure timely submission of financial information to SGX and other regulators.
• Manage monthly group consolidation across subsidiaries, using Excel‑based processes.
• Produce quarterly board packs and provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition and share‑based payments.
• Coordinate with external auditors, present accounting papers to the audit committee, and maintain a robust internal control framework.
• Act as a commercial finance partner to senior leadership, supporting business strategies, acquisitions and process/system improvements.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and oversee disclosure requirements across the group.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or CPA qualified with more than 15 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in SGX reporting and group‑level finance responsibilities, including consolidation.
• Hands‑on mindset; current consolidation performed in Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a lean, small‑team environment.
• Proactive, independent, strong ownership of numbers and excellent stakeholder rapport.
• Demonstrated aptitude for process and system improvement.
