Guest Services Officer

About the role

The Guest Services Officer will be the first point of contact for guests at Pullman Singapore Hill Street, delivering seamless and memorable experiences across the Front Desk, Executive Lounge and Concierge areas. You will support check‑in and check‑out processes, handle VIP arrivals and ensure the privacy and satisfaction of all guests throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with check‑in, check‑out and cashiering duties, registering reservations and assigning rooms.
• Upsell higher room categories to maximise revenue.
• Prepare and coordinate VIP arrivals, amenities and communications for loyalty members and suite guests.
• Provide concierge and executive lounge services, including recommendations of local attractions.
• Maintain accurate room status in collaboration with Housekeeping and update internal systems.
• Handle cash, credit transactions and follow cash‑handling policies.
• Monitor lobby security, alerting Security or Duty Manager of any suspicious activity.
• Ensure front‑office areas remain clean, orderly and compliant with hotel SOPs and emergency procedures.
• Participate in briefings, trainings and other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Secondary or high school education.
• Good reading and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to speak additional languages is an advantage.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential guest information responsibly.
