Head of Events – APAC

About the role

OpenAI is seeking a Head of Events for the Asia‑Pacific region to shape and execute its event ecosystem. Based in Singapore, you will lead a regional team to deliver world‑class programs that connect developers, customers, policymakers and creators with OpenAI’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale the APAC events organization, managing Producers, Event Managers and external partners across India and Southeast Asia.
• Translate strategic business priorities into high‑visibility event programs, from flagship conferences to executive and community engagements.
• Establish operating models, resourcing frameworks and production standards aligned with global practices.
• Direct end‑to‑end program delivery, ensuring alignment, accountability and operational excellence.
• Build scalable systems, playbooks and vendor relationships to support consistent, high‑quality execution.
• Mentor and grow a high‑performing regional team, fostering a collaborative, can‑do culture.
