Head of Finance - Asia

About the role

A global listed technology and manufacturing organisation with a significant footprint across Asia, Europe and North America is looking for an experienced finance leader to head its finance function in Asia. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will shape financial performance, governance and transformation initiatives across the region, partnering with regional and global stakeholders on strategic decisions. The role is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance agenda across Asia, covering planning, reporting, controls and decision support
• Partner with regional leadership teams on commercial, operational and investment decisions
• Support M&A evaluations, investment appraisals, business cases and integration activities
• Act as regional finance lead for internal and external audit matters, ensuring governance and compliance
• Oversight of statutory and management reporting across multiple entities
• Lead the regional Controlling and FP&A function, including planning, forecasting and performance management
• Drive finance transformation, process improvement and better decision support across countries and business units

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
• At least 15 years of finance leadership experience, ideally in multinational manufacturing, industrial or engineering businesses
• Proven track record leading regional finance teams across multiple countries and driving organisational change or finance transformation
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management and people development skills
