Head of Finance (Manufacturing) - APAC

About the role

A global industrial manufacturing business with an established presence across APAC is seeking a Head of Finance to partner with regional leadership and drive business performance. Reporting to the Global CFO and as a key member of the APAC leadership team, the role leads the regional finance organisation across multiple countries and business units. It is a strategic finance leadership position supporting business growth, operational excellence and finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function across APAC markets, combining strategic leadership with operational support
• Partner with regional commercial and operational leaders to drive profitable growth
• Build a regional finance framework covering planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management
• Support integration of acquired businesses with consistent processes, controls and governance
• Drive finance transformation to improve efficiency, visibility and decision-making
• Advise on pricing, margin improvement, cost optimisation and investment decisions
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across jurisdictions
• Strengthen working capital, cash flow management and financial discipline
• Foster collaboration across country finance teams

Required profile

• Seasoned regional finance leader with at least 10 years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology or related sectors
• Professional accounting qualification and/or postgraduate finance qualification
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams across multiple APAC markets
• Experience supporting transformation, acquisitions or integration initiatives
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder influence skills
• Hands-on leadership style, comfortable at executive level and in fast-paced environments
