Head of Information Technology

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and strategic Head of Information Technology to lead our technology function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the stability, security, and evolution of our IT infrastructure while shaping the department’s long‑term direction.

Key responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture, technology standards and drive continuous improvement across the IT function.
• Lead, mentor and develop a diverse IT team including network support, programmers and support engineers.
• Oversee reliability, security, performance and maintenance of servers, LAN/WAN/Cloud networks, storage and hardware.
• Manage daily operations, service‑desk support and proactive system monitoring to minimise downtime.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices, data‑protection measures and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
• Collaborate with the CEO and department heads to align technology initiatives with business needs.
• Plan and deliver IT projects such as system upgrades, deployments and process automation.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and oversee service‑level agreements.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control and procurement of IT equipment and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (field not specified).
• Proven experience in IT management with a track record of leading technical teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise‑level infrastructure, security and business continuity.
• Ability to work hands‑on while developing strategic, budgetary and transformational leadership skills.
