Head of Pricing Strategy (APAC)

About the role

We are looking for a Head, Pricing Strategy (APAC) to join the Marketing Team, reporting to the Director, Pricing. The role is responsible for defining and executing pricing strategy across our brands in APAC, owning the fee structure for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the pricing strategy for all markets across our APAC business, primarily covering the Foodpanda brand.
• Drive new strategic and innovative pricing initiatives to improve global pricing strategy, operations, experimentation, and tooling, including AI and automation solutions.
• Identify, test, and scale opportunities to capture customer willingness to pay while maintaining a fair and competitive price perception.
• Build and align the pricing experimentation roadmap across cross‑functional teams and local markets.
• Guide user‑facing product feature developments required to communicate our fees in the consumer app.
• Own accurate target setting and achievement of the customer fee P&L line items, on the order of hundreds of millions of euros.
• Manage the APAC pricing strategy team, ensuring strong cross‑functional alignment with regional product, commercial, and finance teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, top‑tier consultancy, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with proven experience in SQL and Python/R, leveraging data analysis and A/B testing to deliver scalable, data‑driven solutions.
• Excellent communication ability at all organizational levels and proven stakeholder management in complex, matrixed environments.
• Proactive, autonomous mindset with a passion for tackling complex analytical challenges.
