Head of Sales, Fine Chemicals Food & Pharma Ingredients

About the role

Fuku is looking for a Head of Sales for its Fine Chemicals business, covering food and pharma ingredients. The role is based in Singapore and involves planning, forecasting, market analysis, key account management and channel development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales plans, key account plans and monthly sales forecasts aligned with the global strategy, and break down targets into actionable plans.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer insights, forecast demand and identify growth opportunities and retention strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, expand the customer base and open new markets.
• Optimize the distributor channel, review and negotiate terms with new channel partners, visit distributors regularly and drive agent/distributor channel development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above; chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science background preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' sales experience in fine chemicals; experience in pharmaceutical intermediates or food additives preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, market insight, communication and coordination skills, and teamwork.
• Excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese and English, with cross-cultural communication.
