Head of Training and Excellence

About the role

As the Head of Training and Excellence you will steer global enablement initiatives for Sales, Account Management and BPO agent operations across foodpanda’s worldwide markets. You will shape the learning strategy, build scalable systems and partner with Revenue Operations to accelerate onboarding and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and expand a high‑performing team of enablement specialists and instructional designers across 15 markets.
• Define and execute a holistic enablement roadmap for direct sales, account management and high‑volume BPO agents.
• Oversee instructional design standards, learning frameworks and continuous optimisation for all commercial cohorts.
• Provide strategic guidance on sales methodologies, CRM workflows and customer acquisition/retention best practices.
• Own the strategy, administration and scaling of the Learning Management System (LMS) and related enablement technology stack.
• Partner with RevOps to align enablement with pipeline generation, win rates, net retention and productivity metrics.
• Automate learning workflows using enterprise tools such as Workday and Salesforce.
• Establish KPIs, track enablement ROI and deliver data‑driven insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Product, Marketing and HR on go‑to‑market strategies, product rollouts and system changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in sales enablement, commercial training or L&D operations, preferably in technology, e‑commerce or fast‑paced global environments.
• At least 5 years of direct people‑management experience with a proven record of building and scaling high‑performing teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
