Head of Wealth Management Channels & Technology

About the role

DBS is looking for an experienced, hands-on Head of Wealth Management Channels with a strong background in full-stack engineering and a track record of leading large technology divisions in Wealth Management and Digital Products. The role leads the architecture and technical direction of core products, manages significant budgets, oversees large global teams and builds applications used by millions, in a hyper-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end technology delivery for the Wealth Chapter Area and Channels, managing multi-million dollar budgets and transition to global product squads.
• Define and implement organizational practices and engineering patterns.
• Drive multi-channel digital products (iOS/Android/Web) for private banking, including client communication and collaboration tools such as secure chat, audio/video and screen sharing.
• Implement self-service features, integrate external platforms and champion in-house capability building.
• Advocate for Agile development with a customer-first approach and ensure bank-compliant, secure solutions.
• Build automated deployment pipelines with quality gates, improve stability, performance and speed to market, and reduce running costs through better architecture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large technology organizations (100+ engineers) in financial services, specifically Wealth Management.
• Proven expertise in full-stack development and managing full-stack engineering teams.
• Strong strategic planning, budget management and global team leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of client channels, digital platforms and secure communication technologies.
• Hands-on leader with a strong coding background and knowledge of Java, Kotlin, C#, TypeScript, Python or Go.
• Knowledge of wealth management, investment and insurance products, including industry trends and regulations.
