HNW Insurance Operations Specialist (12-Month Contract)

About the role

An established financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Insurance Operations Specialist to support its high-net-worth (HNW) insurance business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role focuses on Variable Universal Life (VUL) products and covers investment-linked operations, stakeholder management and regulatory governance. It is a 12-month temporary contract based in Singapore, with a monthly pay of SG$5,500 to SG$6,000, and can be done from home or hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end servicing and operational support for HNW insurance policies
• Coordinate with external custodians, asset managers and internal stakeholders on investment-related transactions and operational inquiries
• Perform policy valuations, liquidity monitoring and asset oversight
• Ensure processes comply with regulatory, governance and internal control requirements
• Prepare accurate internal and regulatory reports within set timelines
• Maintain documentation, records and procedures to support audit and risk management
• Identify improvements to operational efficiency, customer experience and service delivery

Required profile

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
• 4+ years of experience in insurance, investment, custody or wealth management operations
• Exposure to VUL, investment-linked products or HNW insurance is advantageous

Required skills

• Investment administration, policy servicing and operational controls
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for insurance and investment operations
• Analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
