Hostess – Luxury Restaurant & Bar

About the role

The Hostess creates memorable first and last impressions for guests at NoMad Singapore’s restaurant and bar venues. Working on‑site, she ensures smooth guest flow, manages reservations and delivers warm, personalised hospitality that aligns with NoMad’s luxury service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly on arrival and departure, escorting them to their tables.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements and waiting lists efficiently, especially during peak periods.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of menus, beverage offerings, promotions, special events and guest dietary requirements, communicating preferences to service and culinary teams.
• Assist guests with coats, bags and personal belongings where appropriate.
• Answer guest enquiries, provide recommendations and promote NoMad dining experiences.
• Support restaurant opening and closing procedures and assist service or bar teams when needed.
• Ensure reception, waiting and dining areas remain clean, organised and presentable.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring seamless service throughout the dining experience.

• Proactive attitude with the capacity to anticipate guest needs.
• Professional handling of guest concerns and complaints.
• Strong product knowledge of restaurant concepts, menus and promotions.
