Hostess / Waitress / Waiter – Restaurant & Bar

About the role

The Mondrian Singapore is seeking enthusiastic Front‑of‑House staff to join its restaurant and bar team. As a Hostess, Waitress or Waiter you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests courteously, manage reservations and table allocations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu and communicate it effectively to guests.
• Prepare, set, clear and reset tables for each service period.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while adhering to company service standards.
• Handle cash, credit cards and cheques securely, record voids and report discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, floors and service stations.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash float management.
• Assist in supervising junior staff, lead the service team and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Report guest feedback, complaints and any operational issues to the Restaurant Manager.

Required profile

• Friendly, diplomatic and professional demeanor with guests at all times.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with management, kitchen, reception and head chef.
• Reliability in following company procedures for cash handling, reservations and service standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
