Host/Hostess – Luxury Hotel Dining Service

About the role

Join the front‑of‑house team at The Singapore EDITION, a luxury boutique hotel, as a Host/Hostess. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience in the hotel’s dining venues.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, appropriately set tables.
• Arrange chairs, place current menus, and verify that each setting includes napkins, silverware, and any required items.
• Monitor dining room flow, adjust seating for groups with special needs, and maintain a tidy work environment using clean‑as‑you‑go practices.
• Check menus for cleanliness and accuracy, and keep the dining area safe and welcoming.
• Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report incidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, answer telephone calls courteously, and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience or supervisory background required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
