HR Assistant (Contract)

About the role

The HR Assistant will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources department in Singapore. This is a 3‑month contract position with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role, ideal for fresh graduates or entry‑level candidates looking to start a career in HR.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, confirmations, promotions, warnings, and other letters.
• Create and maintain employee personal files in both hard‑copy and electronic formats.
• Update employee profiles in the HRIS.
• Process Work Permit, S Pass, and Employment Pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and amendments.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Manpower on work‑pass matters.
• Monitor uniform inventory, place orders when stock is low, and issue uniforms to new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with general HR administration and perform other duties assigned by the HR Manager.

Required profile

• Relevant HR or administrative experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and MOM work‑pass processes is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Good communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, meticulous, responsible, and a good team player.
