HR Business Partner Manager

About the role

The HR Business Partner Manager will act as a strategic liaison between the HR function and business units, driving workforce planning, talent management and change initiatives that support the company’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design organisational structures, conduct workforce planning and manage change initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence – Recruitment, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement – to implement HR programmes.
• Support manpower planning and recruitment activities to ensure timely hiring of suitable talent.
• Monitor employee movements, turnover trends and workforce metrics, providing HR reporting and insights to management.
• Conduct exit interviews, analyse attrition trends and recommend improvement actions.
• Partner with Talent Management to support the annual performance management process and advise on performance, conduct and behavioural matters.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, surveys and follow‑up action plans to strengthen organisational culture.
• Promote employee recognition and reward programmes to reinforce a high‑performance culture.
• Provide HR advisory on compensation, benefits and welfare matters; oversee staff welfare services such as transport, parking and canteen.
• Manage employee relations matters including grievances, investigations and disciplinary cases, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
• Review, update and implement HR policies, procedures and guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support audits, compliance reviews and documentation required by regulatory authorities.
• Partner with Industrial Relations, unions and management to maintain positive industrial relations and resolve grievances.
• Collaborate with regional subsidiaries and joint ventures on HR projects and support.
