HR Specialist

About the role

The HR Specialist will manage core HR functions for Sunwave, supporting recruitment, payroll, benefits administration and employee relations. This role ensures smooth HR operations and acts as a liaison between the business department and the HR Centre of Excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding: conduct full‑cycle recruitment, post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, prepare contracts, and coordinate new‑hire orientation and off‑boarding.
• Payroll administration: process monthly payroll for Singapore employees, ensure compliance with CPF, IRAS, SDL, NS and other statutory requirements, prepare filings, and coordinate with finance and external payroll vendors.
• Benefits and HR administration: manage health insurance, retirement plans and leave policies, liaise with providers, address employee enquiries, process HR invoices, and maintain contracts and documentation.
• Support HR Business Partners: assist the business department with employee relations, performance evaluations and act as a bridge to the HR Centre of Excellence.
• Employee relations & engagement: organise company events, communications and recognition initiatives to enhance employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, benefits or employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and statutory contributions.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work across HR, Finance and external partners.
