HRIS & HR Analysis Consultant

About the role

OPay is seeking an HRIS & HR Analysis Consultant to design, build, and optimise core HRIS modules while delivering data‑driven insights for its global HR Centre of Excellence. The role blends system development, data management, and cross‑regional collaboration to support OPay’s fast‑growing fintech operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HRIS modules from concept to production, aligning with the global HR COE framework.
• Collect, clean, and verify performance and distribution data, creating dashboards and analytical reports.
• Analyse data trends, explore correlations, and present preliminary conclusions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners across multiple countries and business units to gather and integrate requirements.
• Drive project execution by coordinating resources, managing expectations, and ensuring timely delivery of HR system optimisation and performance‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or related HR functions.
• Proven experience building a core HRIS module or a significant HRIS component from scratch.
• Strong cross‑region and cross‑business‑unit communication abilities.
• Fluent in English with professional proficiency in Chinese.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI (preferred).
• Familiarity with Lark (Feishu) or similar collaboration tools.
