Human Resources (HR) Manager

About the role

Careers International is looking for an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of human resources functions in Singapore. The role covers driving HR strategy, managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment regulations and partnering with business leaders to support growth and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage HR operations and strategic HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, succession planning and offboarding.
• Develop, implement and review HR policies, procedures and the employee handbook.
• Manage compensation and benefits, salary reviews, payroll coordination, CPF contributions and statutory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, EFMA, CPF, IRAS and TAFEP guidelines.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, training programmes and organisational culture.
• Partner with department heads on workforce planning and talent management, maintain HRIS data, employee records and HR reports, and support change management and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of HR experience in Singapore, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or full-spectrum HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and statutory requirements; experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits and HR policy development.
• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident preferred, or valid work pass holder.
• IHRP certification (CP/SP) and Mandarin are an added advantage.
