I&C Designer – Offshore Topsides (Singapore)

About the role

Hanwha Ocean EPU is seeking an I&C Designer to lead engineering activities for offshore topside projects. You will be responsible for the design, integration and verification of electrical, control, instrumentation and telecom (ECIT) systems, ensuring compliance with project standards and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop overall ECIT design concepts covering Electrical, Control, Instrumentation and Telecom systems.
• Produce, review and validate detailed deliverables such as single‑line diagrams, loop diagrams, control narratives, network architecture, telecom block diagrams and cable engineering documents.
• Lead multidisciplinary design reviews with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Safety and Marine teams to ensure full topside interface alignment.
• Coordinate with vendors and package suppliers on technical clarifications, system requirements and interface control documents.
• Guide and mentor junior designers/engineers, enforcing ECIT design standards and best practices.
• Perform design verification, compliance checks and constructability reviews across ECIT systems.
• Support procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, integration testing and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ECIT design for offshore or topside projects.
• Ability to lead design reviews and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of international engineering codes and standards.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and ensuring design quality.
