Incident Response Senior Consultant (Weekend Rotation)

About the role

CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader, is hiring a Senior Consultant to deliver reactive and proactive incident response engagements in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This is an individual contributor, senior technical consulting role requiring hands-on expertise and the ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders, and to support, manage and mentor less experienced team members. The role covers a Thursday through Monday rotation and requires comfort working across weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements.
• Perform advanced host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.
• Advise organizations while they respond to threat actor activity.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations and findings for customer management.
• Present technical material to non-technical and technical audiences.
• Showcase industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts and other public speaking events.

Required profile

• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations, including targeted threats such as APTs, organized crime and hacktivists.
• Background using forensic analysis tools to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools and log analysis.
• Deep understanding of targeted attacks and ability to design customized remediation plans.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and adversary attribution.
• Exceptional written and oral communication, including presenting to senior executives.
• Ability to work under high stress and in a high-pressure environment, and to collaborate with the APJ region team.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows and efficiency.

Required skills

• Incident response and computer and network forensics.
• Preferred certifications: GCFA, GCIH or similar (not required).
