Incoming Quality Control Technician (IQC)

About the role

Micron is seeking an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician to join its Singapore manufacturing site. The role supports the IQC Engineer in ensuring that all incoming materials meet Micron’s stringent quality standards, contributing directly to the reliability of memory and storage products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the IQC Engineer in qualifying new IQC tools and equipment.
• Provide calibration and preventive maintenance support for IQC equipment, including raising purchase requisitions.
• Address equipment issues promptly to maintain flawless inspection operations.
• Develop detailed IQC procedures and establish operation and preventive‑maintenance systems.
• Maintain SAP QM, eCOA, and IQC SPC records for incoming materials.
• Conduct First Article Inspection activities for new material introductions.
• Perform incoming material inspections for a variety of components, including HBM materials.

Required profile

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts, including night shifts.
• Proven experience in quality control within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent documentation and procedural development capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse global teams.
