Independent HR Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Independent HR Consultant to provide expert guidance on Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations. You will support multiple clients with onboarding, payroll coordination, contract preparation, and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HR consultation aligned with Singapore employment legislation and MOM guidelines.
• Assist clients with employee onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Coordinate payroll and statutory contributions such as CPF and SDL.
• Prepare and review employment contracts, HR letters, and related documentation.
• Advise on local HR compliance, labor regulations, and best practices.
• Support work‑pass documentation (EP, S Pass, Work Permit) when required.
• Liaise with government authorities or third‑party vendors as needed.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, employee relations, and termination procedures.
• Contribute to HR policy development and implementation.
• Handle ad‑hoc HR projects assigned by the regional team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR experience in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
• Experience with payroll and statutory contributions (preferred).
• Familiarity with Employment Pass, S Pass and Work Permit processes (advantage).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Prior experience in HR consulting or supporting multiple clients is a plus.
