Indoor Account Executive – Telesales

About the role

We are looking for an Indoor Account Executive (Telesales Executive) to drive revenue and customer acquisition for DHL Express in Singapore. The role focuses on managing a geographically assigned sales portfolio, developing existing accounts and acquiring new business through proactive outreach and marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue and shipment growth by up‑selling and cross‑selling DHL services to meet and exceed targets.
• Create and execute a personal sales plan to acquire new customers and increase wallet share of existing clients.
• Convert prospect leads into active customers by combining sales expertise with deep knowledge of DHL products.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer information in the CRM system and ensure accurate record‑keeping of all sales activities.
• Build strong client relationships to maximise account performance, reduce attrition and limit competitor opportunities.
• Ensure customer agreements are cost‑sensitive and comply with regional profit margin and pricing standards.
• Coordinate customer service, service recovery and credit control issues with relevant DHL departments.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Results‑oriented, proactive attitude with the ability to multitask under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• General IT savviness.
