Informatics Nurse

About the role

The Informatics Nurse will join the SCH family to guide and educate nursing staff on the effective use of information technology. This role ensures that digital tools and electronic medical records (EMR) support safe, efficient patient care across SingHealth Community Hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nursing digitalisation and EMR initiatives, promoting adoption of electronic records and digital tools.
• Support project implementation through requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), roll‑out, and post‑go‑live support.
• Deliver training, user support, and stakeholder engagement to build confidence in new systems.
• Act as liaison between clinical teams and IT to optimise workflows and align technology with frontline needs.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement and innovation opportunities to enhance care quality and efficiency.
• Evaluate and implement healthcare technologies and system integrations, ensuring solutions fit organisational goals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
• Advanced/Higher/Graduate or Post‑Graduate Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent).
• Formal training or certification in Nursing Informatics or Health Informatics (preferred).
• Valid Registered Nurse practising certificate issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Valid BCLS certification.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and be deployed across SingHealth Community Hospital sites.
