Intern, Brands Solutions

About the role

CAA's Singapore office is looking for an intern to join its Brand Solutions team within the growing CAA Sports - APAC team. The intern works mainly with the brand solutions and sales teams to generate new business opportunities supporting sales goals, and may take part in ad hoc projects across the sports and entertainment industry. The role suits someone eager to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development, including lead generation, research and data management.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify prospects through market research, using tools such as LinkedIn, CRM software and other databases.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads by analysing industry trends, customer profiles and competitor activity.
• Input and update prospect data in CRM systems, keeping it accurate and complete.
• Assist in crafting and running email campaigns and outreach sequences, and monitor responses and engagement.
• Work with account executives and sales reps to hand over qualified leads, share insights on prospects and support pre-sales activities.
• Help track and report prospecting metrics, conversion rates and performance to improve the sales process.
• Support other team functions on an ad hoc basis as required.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or recent graduate of any discipline; marketing or sports background is a plus.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a can-do attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for traditional sports, esports, entertainment and culture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and/or another Asian language is a plus.
• A minimum commitment of 6 months is ideal.

Required skills

• Well versed in the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) on both Microsoft and Apple interfaces.
• CRM data entry and management.
