Intern, Data Analytics

About the role

This internship reports to the Director, L&M Services, APAC and supports program management of APAC service growth initiatives and platforms. You will track, analyse and communicate performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy simulation models powered by machine learning tools to analyse business operations, identify regional trends and forecast revenue, supporting operational capacity planning
• Design and implement BI dashboards in Power BI using DAX, extracting leading indicators from market activity
• Use SQL and Power Query for ETL and data modelling from multiple sources
• Turn business requirements into visualisations and reports, and support the Program Management plan, including cadence planning, impact capturing and problem solving

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in business, engineering or data science and analytics
• Able to commit to a full-time 6-month internship (preferred)
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to communicate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Python or R for exploratory data analysis and predictive modelling
• Plus: practical Salesforce experience and familiarity with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse
