Intern - Test Solutions, NVM (NAND Test Engineering)

About the role

Micron is looking for an Intern Test Solutions Engineer in its Non-Volatile Memory Test Engineering department in F10N, Singapore. The project focuses on NAND memory product development, manufacturing test optimization and AI-enabled engineering automation. It gives hands-on exposure to wafer probe, burn-in and assembly test solutions used in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, with collaboration on analytical and automation solutions that improve test quality, productivity and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data analytics and AI-enabled workflows to improve engineering efficiency across NAND test development and manufacturing.
• Design and implement automation for test-result analysis, wafer tracking, yield correlation and test-program validation.
• Build dashboards and visualization tools that turn large manufacturing and test datasets into actionable insights.
• Apply scripting and software development to improve test infrastructure, code reusability and productivity.
• Explore machine learning for predicting test performance, quality indicators and manufacturing trends.
• Deliver an automated workflow or software solution, a data analytics dashboard and reporting framework, technical documentation, improvement recommendations and a final project presentation.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Semiconductor Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of 4 to 6 months.
• Ability to work independently on a defined project while collaborating with engineering teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Python, C, C++, Java, SQL or other programming languages.
• Understanding of statistics, algorithms, data structures and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, AI tools or AI-enabled workflows.
• Preferred: Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, data visualization tools, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, semiconductor device knowledge, and experience with AI assistants or automation platforms.
