Internal Audit Analyst – Tech Risk & Cybersecurity (Singapore)

About the role

As an Internal Audit Analyst focused on Core Engineering, Tech Risk and Cybersecurity, you will help Goldman Sachs independently evaluate the effectiveness of its technology controls, governance processes and risk‑management frameworks across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and interpret APAC technology and cybersecurity regulatory requirements and communicate their impact to the Internal Audit function.
• Identify relevant regulatory expectations, emerging risks and new standards, and incorporate them into audit plans and strategies.
• Bridge local and global audit teams to ensure regional requirements are addressed while leveraging global audit assets.
• Provide timely updates on technology developments, regulatory changes, security incidents and organizational shifts that affect audit scope.
• Execute audit engagements that assess the design and operating effectiveness of technology and cybersecurity controls.

Required profile

• Strong risk‑and‑control mindset with the ability to think analytically and exercise professional skepticism.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex regulatory concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment and build effective relationships across teams.
• Interest in continuous learning about audit methodologies, technology risk and cybersecurity trends.

Required skills

• Background in technology, engineering or a related discipline.
