Internal Auditor – Private Banking

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our private banking division. You will lead risk‑based audit reviews, ensuring that client onboarding, investment suitability, credit processes and trade execution meet the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based audit reviews covering client onboarding, investment suitability, credit processes and trade execution.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of business control frameworks against group risk expectations.
• Assess operational practices for compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clear audit reports, present findings to senior stakeholders and monitor issue resolution.
• Conduct continuous risk evaluations across digital platforms and specialized investment solutions to adjust assurance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting internal audit reviews within wealth management or private banking environments.
• Deep understanding of private client investment products, suitability requirements and risk‑management frameworks.
• Strong quantitative analysis capabilities and exposure to data‑analytics tools for audit testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with executive leaders.
