Investment Analyst – Equities (Singapore)

About the role

This full‑time Investment Analyst position sits within the Equities team of Fullerton’s Investment Group in Singapore. You will conduct fundamental research and financial analysis on companies across the Singapore equity market, generating actionable investment ideas for both pre‑IPO and listed equity portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis, modelling, market research, and due diligence on assigned companies, including pre‑IPO and listed names.
• Source and evaluate private and pre‑IPO companies as potential investment opportunities.
• Originate differentiated investment ideas from initial analysis through implementation.
• Prepare investment research reports and financial models with actionable recommendations.
• Cover the Singapore equity market across all sectors and conduct ad‑hoc research as needed.
• Contribute to team initiatives and projects following established procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related discipline.
• Preferably a CFA charter holder.
• 6‑10 years of experience in equity research, private equity or related investment functions.
• Demonstrated ability to generate investment ideas and analyze pre‑IPO or private companies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Financial modelling (DCF, transaction comparables, precedent deals, scenario & sensitivity analysis).
• Public‑market valuation methods.
• Fundamental bottom‑up research analysis.
• Knowledge of ESG and sustainability issues and ability to integrate them into investment analysis.
