iOS Software Engineer

About the role

CompanyA1 is building a proactive AI smart assistant that helps users manage conversations, errands, and workflows. As an iOS Software Engineer you will own the iOS client experience, turning AI interactions into a reliable, high‑performance product that runs on users’ devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a production‑grade iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI‑powered features through backend APIs, handling streaming responses, loading states, retries and fallbacks.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage and battery consumption while ensuring App Store quality and stability.
• Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and continuous iteration.
• Collaborate with backend and machine‑learning engineers on API design, system behavior and remote configuration.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI or ML features into mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency and background task management.
• Proven ability to ship and maintain production iOS apps with high reliability.
• Comfort designing for latency, partial failure and non‑deterministic AI behavior.
