iOS Software Engineer

About the role

CompanyA1 is creating a proactive AI smart assistant that brings intelligence to everyday conversations, errands, and workflows. As an iOS Software Engineer you will own the iOS client experience, ensuring AI interactions feel reliable, responsive, and trustworthy in users’ hands.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production‑grade iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI‑powered features via backend APIs, handling streaming responses, retries, and fallbacks.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency for real‑world usage.
• Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with backend and machine‑learning engineers on API design and system behavior.
• Maintain high App Store quality, stability, and production reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI‑driven features into mobile apps.
• Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background task management.
• Proven ability to ship and maintain production iOS applications.
• Comfort designing for latency, partial failure, and non‑deterministic AI behavior.
• Exposure to on‑device ML frameworks such as CoreML or TensorFlow Lite.
