IT Operations Specialist

About the role

PALO IT, a global technology consultancy with an AI-first engineering approach, is looking for an IT Operations Specialist to be the backbone of its APAC tech infrastructure. Based in Singapore and reporting directly to the CTO, the role leads the implementation and maintenance of the tools, platforms and processes that power the company's people. It is more than IT support: it involves keeping systems efficient, secure and future-ready.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations across offices, including infrastructure, devices and networks
• Manage onboarding/offboarding workflows, user access and permissions on SaaS platforms such as Microsoft 365, GitHub, VPN and Notion
• Plan, maintain and evaluate IT systems, ensuring data security, network reliability and robust backup processes
• Handle basic user support and troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Maintain internal tooling configurations, IT documentation and asset inventory
• Support audits and ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO27001
• Liaise with vendors and manage IT procurement for cost-effective solutions
• Identify and implement improvements to scale and secure the tech environment

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting an organisation's technology needs
• Experience with OS patching and maintenance (Mac, Windows, Unix, Linux)
• Experience with automation and monitoring systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 user administration, access control and security settings
• Familiarity with SaaS tools and workflows, including onboarding/offboarding and permission management
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, routing, firewalls and VPNs
• Experience with cloud platforms (IAM and billing)
• Good to have: virtualization concepts, configuration management (Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet), and experience supporting ISO27001 audits, data centre or data governance work
• Well organised and able to work under limited supervision
• A current right to work in Singapore is preferred; no visa sponsorship required
