IT Procurement Intern (APAC)

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an IT Procurement Intern for its System Office for Asia - Enterprise Technology Procurement (ASO - ETP) unit in Singapore. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and gives hands-on exposure to sourcing, vendor management, procurement operations and procurement risk. The role is open to Singaporean and PR students only.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing procurement documents such as requests for proposals (RFPs) and purchase orders.
• Help update the procurement database and tools so that information stays accurate and current.
• Assist in analysing market trends and supplier performance, and contribute to category management and sourcing strategies.
• Help prepare procurement reports and presentations.
• Assist in resolving procurement issues.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to cross-functional teams within the CIO function and end-to-end procurement processes.
