IT Support Associate I – Onsite Technical Support

About the role

As an IT Services Support Associate, you will provide on‑site technical assistance to Amazon corporate employees, ensuring their hardware, software and peripheral devices function smoothly. You will act as a trusted advisor, quickly diagnosing issues and guiding non‑technical users to maintain productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, thin clients and handheld terminals.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating when necessary.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition through retirement, including inventory tracking and audits.
• Maintain accurate records, generate reports on asset usage, compliance and risk.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance such as cleaning and replacing consumables.
• Collaborate with customers, peers and internal teams via multiple communication channels.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Windows, macOS or Linux operating systems in a corporate environment.
• Experience with integrated computer systems and IT asset management.
• Familiarity with zebra thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners and portable handheld devices.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
