IT Support Technician

About the role

Decathlon Singapore is looking for an experienced and dedicated IT Support Technician to set up and maintain the systems and networks used in its retail locations and back office. The role involves hands-on technical support, device setup and system upkeep, with travel to different locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support (on-site and off-site) for retail locations and the back office
• Set up new IT devices and make sure they work properly
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems and networks
• Handle back-end processes for opening new stores
• Maintain inventory of IT devices
• Coordinate and communicate with vendors
• Evaluate and test hardware and software
• Document IT processes
• Travel to different locations for job tasks and perform ad-hoc IT tasks as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Minimum diploma in Information Technology or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Customer service orientation with a professional attitude

Required skills

• Excellent technical knowledge of IT systems, networks and devices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working hours

• Shift work Monday to Friday
• Standby on weekends, 9am to 10pm daily (rotation)
