IT System Administrator – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT System Administrator to join our infrastructure team in Bedok for a 12‑month contract. You will be responsible for maintaining Windows server and client environments, supporting network equipment, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2012 and later versions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laptops and desktops running Windows 7 or newer.
• Configure Cisco switches, set up VLANs, and resolve client network issues.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure hardware such as servers, network gear, and UPS systems.
• Plan and execute product installations, upgrades, patches, and hot‑fixes.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems and operations.
• Perform server housekeeping using tools like ROBOCOPY.
• Support Office365 and Microsoft Teams deployments.
• Document all installation activities and report progress to the Infrastructure Team Lead.
• Implement changes through the Change Management process, including impact analysis and test plans.
• Identify, isolate, resolve, and close incident/problem tickets following ITSM processes.
• Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and adopt new technologies.
• Conduct daily system health checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT network, desktop, and server support.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
