About the role
The IT Technician will be responsible for the identification, maintenance and replacement of electronic equipment and computers at the Tuas Checkpoint site. This permanent, non‑executive position works on a rotating 4‑day shift schedule and supports both internal staff and the general public.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, maintain, and replace electronic equipment and computer hardware.
- Liaise with the relevant government agency for the return and collection of faulty or repaired equipment.
- Track and record fault patterns and trends, preparing monthly progress reports for the government agency.
- Provide guidance to the public on the use of on‑site equipment such as fee collection terminals.
Required profile
- Certificate in NITEC, Electrical, Electronic or a related discipline.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (4‑day work week).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both agency personnel and the public.
