Java Software Engineer – Core Banking Cash Management

About the role

Join the Core Banking IT department of Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore as a Java Software Engineer. You will work on the International Back Office Cash Management System, a critical platform used by 25 business units worldwide, delivering new functionality and ensuring smooth production roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design and develop new software components using the latest Java and React frameworks.
• Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and greenfield solutions.
• Plan, prepare and execute roll‑outs from support to production across multiple sites.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, define testing and validation procedures, and support functional and user‑acceptance testing.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads, architects, BA, PM and fellow developers to produce high‑quality deliverables.
• Draft technical design documents, unit tests, code reviews and integration documentation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience developing web and stand‑alone applications with Java/JEE on Unix platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Spring frameworks (Boot, Batch, Integration, Security) and micro‑services architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
• Proficiency in source‑code management (Git, SVN) and messaging systems (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, HornetQ).
• Experience with front‑end technologies (React, Angular, JavaScript frameworks) and application servers (JBoss, Jetty, WebSphere).
