Java Software Engineer (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

CrimsonLogic is looking for a motivated Java Software Engineer to join the team developing the next‑generation Tuas Terminal Operating System (GTOS+2.0). This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on a critical logistics platform while gaining hands‑on experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Manage the SDLC from initialization to closure for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure technical feasibility and successful delivery.
• Conduct System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and support system deployment.
• Provide 24×7 system support, including on‑site troubleshooting at data centres when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills, result‑orientation, learning agility and a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Proficient in Java (also C / C++ acceptable).
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.
• Hands‑on with Angular, Spring Boot and Cloud Foundry or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Test‑Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure integration and UML is a plus.
