Junior AI Engineer – Agentic AI Development

About the role

AMD is looking for a Junior AI Engineer to drive end‑to‑end development of Agentic AI solutions. You will design, build, and deploy AI agents that integrate with enterprise systems, working closely with users in real‑world environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents with multi‑step workflows, tool usage, and memory capabilities.
• Develop function calling, structured outputs, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Engineer prompts and context windows to reduce hallucinations and improve consistency.
• Deploy AI solutions into live business workflows, integrating with APIs, databases, and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine use cases and continuously monitor, debug, and improve production systems.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Understanding of APIs, JSON, and basic ML/NLP concepts.
• Experience with OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs and building small LLM applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Structured problem‑solving mindset and basic cloud or container deployment experience.
