Junior AI Engineer – GenAI & Machine Learning (Associate Level)

About the role

Join EY's Technology Consulting team as a Junior AI Engineer, focusing on generative AI (GenAI) solutions. You will work within EY DnA, the data and advanced analytics hub, to design and deliver intelligent applications that leverage large language models and advanced machine learning techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy single‑ or multi‑agentic applications that use GenAI models (LLMs) for task decomposition, planning and execution.
• Develop end‑to‑end AI‑powered workflows integrated with backend systems, APIs and data pipelines on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Create and refine NLP and predictive models to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable GenAI solutions.
• Conduct rapid prototyping, proof‑of‑concepts and experiments using AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangFlow, LangGraph, LangSmith, LlamaIndex).
• Ensure production‑ready code quality, packaging and maintainability following software‑engineering best practices.
• Utilise full‑stack development skills, including DevOps practices, to deliver end‑to‑end applications.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to business and management audiences.
