Junior IT Engineer

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a Junior IT Engineer to join its IT & Information Security team. You will provide first‑line support to internal users, help maintain regional IT infrastructure, and contribute to automation and AI‑driven initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for employees.
• Support onboarding/off‑boarding processes and improve user experience.
• Provide first‑ and second‑tier troubleshooting for endpoints, network devices, and peripherals.
• Assist with directory and authentication system operations.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure laptops meet baseline security standards.
• Participate in ticket management, project meetings, audits, and inspections.
• Document and improve IT support procedures and manage Jira project boards.
• Write basic scripts to automate repetitive tasks and monitor automation systems.
• Explore AI tools to enhance support efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Passion for problem solving and serving internal customers.
• Eager learner with strong communication skills.
• Result‑oriented mindset.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Required skills

• Desktop, laptop and mobile device configuration.
• Endpoint and network device troubleshooting.
• Directory/Authentication systems (e.g., Active Directory).
• Jira project management.
• Basic scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with AI tools for support processes.
