Junior Java Developer – Fresh Graduate Welcome

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join the Cash Management and Corporate Banking Services (CCS) department of Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the International Core Banking System and its cash‑management digital platform, working in an agile, scrum‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cash‑management and reporting applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and performance optimisation for existing applications.
• Implement solutions using Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) to ensure high‑quality code.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Estimate user stories, support production issues, and contribute to agile project delivery.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or junior professional with less than 3 years of experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cash‑management functional concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities and a team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Java programming.
• Experience or knowledge of Spark, Flink, Kafka, Elastic Search, HBase, HDFS, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD practices and unit‑testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
